Specifications for Upper School student laptops

Westtown is committed to developing the next generation of globally engaged, scientifically literate and ethically grounded leaders and stewards of a better world. Technology plays a critical role in the learning process, so, in order to fully participate in instructional activities, each Upper School student must have a Windows or Mac laptop that meets the minimum system configuration requirements specified below. We designed these requirements to ensure that a device purchased now will carry the student through all four years in the Upper School. We do understand there may be instances where these requirements present financial difficulty, and Westtown will try to work with families for whom this purchase is a problem.
