How do I enter daily attendance in MyWesttown (Lower School)?

  1. Sign in to MyWesttown
  2. By default, you should land on the “Schedule and Performance” page under “My Day”.  The page should look something like this:

Click on the “List” button (indicated by the red arrow in the above screenshot) to switch to the “list” view.  You can view and update attendance from the default “grid” view, but the interface for the “list” view is much cleaner: 4. If everyone in the class is present, click the upside-down triangle to the right of the “Take Attendance” button and click “All Present”.  You are done taking attendance for this class section. 5. If there are any absences, click the “Take Attendance” button to bring up a full list of students in the class. For each student that has an absent or tardy attendance status, select the appropriate attendance status from the drop-down list, type any relevant information in the comments field to the right, and click “Save & Close”.

6. If you need to update attendance, you can return to it and make edits anytime during that same academic day.  Updates that need to be added on a later date will need to be done by the Lower School Office.
