How do I set a new password for my network/email account?

If you know what your current password is and want to reset it, or if you've received a message that your password is expiring soon, follow these instructions to set a new password:

  • Go to https://accounts.westtown.edu.
  • Login with either your short username or email address and your current password.
  • Click on “Change Password”.
  • Enter your current password and click “Continue”.
  • Enter a new password that meets all the listed requirements.
    • If the new password does not meet the requirements, you will see an explanatory note in red.
    • If you'd like to use a password generated by the system, click on the icon to the right of the “New Password” label then select one of the randomly generated passwords.
  • Enter the new password again in the “Confirm Password” field, then click the “Change Password” button.
  • You will see a progress bar indicating that the password is being changed. Once that is complete, click the “Continue” button.

You have now successfully reset your password. Please note that changing your password here immediately updates the password for wifi, printing, and some websites like Canvas. It will take up to ten minutes for the new password to sync to Google, at which point you will need to login to your Westtown Google account on all your devices, which will also require performing two-factor authentication.
