How do I print to a campus printer?
If you're printing directly from within your Google Chrome browser, you can use one of our PaperCut mobility printers. This is the simplest way to print to a campus printer and should work for most people because almost every file type (whether it's a Google Doc, pdf, or even a Microsoft Word document) can be viewed within Chrome if opened from Google Drive.
Printing to a PaperCut mobility printer
Note: you must be signed into the Chrome browser with your westtown.edu account with sync enabled. If you are signed into your Chrome browser but still don't see the Mobility Print printers described in step 3 below, refer to the troubleshooting section at the bottom of this page.
- Click the printer icon from the open Doc or file.
- Click on the "Destination" drop-down menu in the Print window, then select "See more..."
3. Scroll down the list of available printers until you see a set of printers labeled "Mobility Print". Teachers and students in different divisions will see a different list of devices. Select the appropriate printer based on the printer name.
4. The printer you just selected will now appear as the "Destination"
5. Click "More Settings" to see additional printing options. It is recommended that you print two-sided whenever possible to conserve paper.
6. After configuring all your printing settings, click the blue "Print" button then retrieve your print job from the printer/copier. Chrome will remember the last printer you used, so you will only have to repeat steps 1-5 when printing to a new printer for the first time.
