Introduction

  • Most classrooms and meeting spaces are outfitted with an Epson projector which you can connect to in the following ways:
    • HDMI Cable (wired)
    • Chromecast (wireless)
    • Epson Software (wireless)
  • Each projecting method occupies a different Image Source.
    • Click on the “Source Search” button on the Epson remote to toggle between Image Sources

Display Modes

There are 2 display modes when projecting using an HDMI Cable or the Epson Projection software:

  • Mirror Mode (aka “Duplicating Displays”)
    • The computer monitor duplicates the monitor on the external display so that you see the same picture on both the computer and projector.
      • NOTE: This is the default (and only mode) when projecting with Chromecast
  • Extend Mode
    • The external display is treated as a separate screen so that you can have different windows open on the projector and desktop.
